Gnosticism:

Gnosticism come, if Christianity to a single child, and it tries its best to suck in the fort, young Christian faith and transform its image. There was a wide diversity of practice and teaching of Gnostic's, but there were marks central.

In Gnosticism, the spiritual world was full of deep mysteries to explore. Matter was wrong or, at best or icky unreal and the spirit was good. Words such as' boat ',' Container ',' jacket ',' package ',' power 'or' vehicle ', as now, they describe the human body. Some spirits were "good" than others, and part of the task (dare I say 'Thursday'?) Was that the spiritual hierarchy happy? Démodé Gnosticism neophytes new type of New Thought (Unity, Christian Science) and New Age (Celestine Prophecy, and especially Urbanite) and have left their traces in other places (in some preachers Word of Faith, during Miracles, the end Heaven's Gate, a few scholars of religion and, in many states-pop-religious culture). For reasons of an enigma logical given their lack of meaning, these ideas have historically had more call-ups for their intellectual and social elite. Gnostic's now knows how to disguise his ideas with a positive spin on our individual and the earth. But it could still wind in the same hole.
